Conor Mead

Conor is the Lead Records Specialist contracted with the Gila River Indian Community Cultural Resource Management Program. She is responsible for leading the archival efforts of the program and managing the transfer of artifacts between the field and heritage institutions. Conor has worked as an archaeologist since 2018. She has field experience in the Great Plains, the Great Basin, the Southwest, Greece, Turkey, and Israel. Her research interests focus on social stratification and non-destructive archaeometry, particularly X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry. When not in the archives Conor enjoys reading science fiction, singing along to musicals, dabbling in various textile arts, and chasing her cat and dog around the house.
